How well does the non-slip grip actually work during dance?

Our non-slip silicone lining is specifically chosen for active performance use — not the light grip found on fashion headbands. It maintains position through pirouettes, jumps, and floor work. For exceptionally vigorous styles like acrobatics or aerial work, we recommend the wide 3" style which has greater contact area with the head.

Should I choose embroidered or printed headbands?

Embroidered headbands have a premium tactile quality — the stitched logo has texture and dimension — and work on stretch performance fabric which gives the most comfortable all-day wear. Printed headbands allow unlimited colour and all-over design but are on polyester satin fabric. For everyday class wear, embroidered is the more comfortable choice. For visual impact in performance and photography, printed is more striking.
