1. Agreement to These Terms
By accessing customdancepatches.com or placing an order with Custom Dance Patches, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Our Services
Custom Dance Patches provides custom-manufactured dance patches, enamel pins, hair accessories, and lanyards for dance studios, competition teams, and dance families worldwide. All products are made to order based on your specific design, size, and quantity requirements.
3. The Order Process
The following process governs all orders:
- 1You submit an order enquiry with your design requirements, product type, and quantity
- 2We prepare a free digital mockup and pricing quote, delivered within 24–48 hours
- 3You review the mockup and may request unlimited revisions at no charge
- 4You provide written approval of the final mockup design
- 5Production begins only after your written approval is received
- 6For orders of 100+ pieces, we send production photographs and video before dispatch
- 7Your order is dispatched and tracking information is provided
Your written approval of the digital mockup constitutes a binding agreement that the design, size, colour references, and specifications shown are correct and authorised for production.
4. Production Timelines
Production timelines are estimates based on current workload, raw material availability, and your product type. We will provide an estimated timeline as part of your quote. While we make every effort to meet stated timelines, they are not guaranteed.
If you have a specific competition, recital, or event deadline, you must communicate this to Stacy before placing your order. We will confirm whether your deadline can be accommodated. We are not liable for production delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including material supply delays, international shipping disruption, or force majeure events.
5. Intellectual Property & Artwork
5a. Your Submitted Artwork
By submitting artwork, logos, or design files to us, you confirm that:
- ✓You own the intellectual property rights to the submitted artwork, or
- ✓You have explicit written permission from the rights holder to reproduce the artwork on physical merchandise
Custom Dance Patches will not knowingly reproduce trademarked characters, logos, or artwork belonging to third parties without evidence of permission — for example, entertainment characters, sports team logos, or branded imagery you do not own. If we identify potentially infringing artwork during our mockup review, we will notify you and may decline to produce the order.
You agree to indemnify Custom Dance Patches against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your submission of artwork that infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
5b. Artwork We Create for You
Where our design team creates or modifies artwork for your order as part of the free mockup service, the final artwork — once reproduced on your physical products — is yours to use for your studio's purposes.
6. Photography & Portfolio Rights
Custom Dance Patches may photograph and/or video the finished products from your order for use in our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials. This is standard practice in the custom manufacturing industry and helps other dance studios understand the quality of our work.
We will not publish photographs that display your studio's full name, personal identifying information of dancers, or confidential design elements without your specific consent. We may publish general product quality photographs showing the finished item without identifying your studio by name.
If you prefer that we do not use photographs from your order in our marketing, please notify Stacy in writing at the time of ordering. We will respect your request.
7. Payment
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Full payment is required before production begins. We do not begin manufacturing until payment has cleared. Prices quoted are valid for 14 days from the date of the quote.
8. Shipping & Risk
Risk in the goods passes to you upon dispatch. We will provide tracking information for all shipments. Free express shipping applies to qualifying orders of 50+ pieces. For smaller orders, shipping is charged at cost. Import duties, customs fees, and local taxes applicable in your country are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Custom Dance Patches' total liability to you for any claim arising from your order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profit, missed competition opportunities, or similar losses.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Custom Dance Patches is registered. For UK customers, your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected by these terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date.
