Why We Don't Publish Fixed Prices

Our products are made to order — every patch, pin, and accessory is produced specifically for your studio, in your colours, at your chosen size. Raw material costs, shipping rates, and production availability change with global market conditions. A fixed price published today may be inaccurate next month, which leads to misquotations and disappointment.

Pricing Questions by Product Type

Patches

Do all patch types cost the same?

No — different patch styles have different production processes and cost accordingly. Chenille patches involve a more intensive manufacturing process than embroidered or woven patches. Sequin patches and 3D effects also carry different costs. Your free quote will reflect the specific patch type, size, quantity, and finish you've chosen.

Does patch size affect the price?

Yes — larger patches require more material and production time, so price scales with size. Our free quote will factor in your exact dimensions.

Can I get a sample before committing to a large order?

For patch orders of 100+ pieces, we offer pre-dispatch production photos and video so you can review the quality of actual production samples before they ship. This ensures complete confidence before your full order is dispatched.

Pins

Why is the pin minimum order higher than patches?

Custom pins require a metal mold (die) to be created for your design. The mold cost is distributed across the minimum order quantity of 25 pieces. Once your mold is created, it is kept on file — reorders do not incur any mold fee again.

Are 3D pins and hard enamel pins more expensive than soft enamel?

Yes. Hard enamel and 3D cast pins involve additional manufacturing steps — multiple baking and polishing cycles for hard enamel, and zinc casting and finishing for 3D pins. These steps add to the cost relative to soft enamel. Your free quote will show the specific cost for your chosen pin style.

Can I get a pin sample before my full order?

Pre-production pin samples are possible but carry an unavoidable mold and tooling cost that cannot be refunded — this is a physical requirement of the manufacturing process. For most studio orders, the free digital mockup (which shows your design in full colour and precise detail) provides sufficient confidence before production. Hair Accessories & Lanyards

Is pricing the same for embroidered and printed scrunchies?

Embroidered scrunchies and printed (sublimation) scrunchies have different production processes and are priced differently. Embroidered scrunchies are generally priced slightly higher due to the thread setup process. Your free quote will show both options if you're comparing.

Do lanyard prices vary by width and print method?

Yes — wider lanyards use more material, and woven lanyards are priced higher than sublimation-printed due to the weaving process. Your quote will specify the width, print method, and quantity.

Shipping

When exactly is shipping free?

Free express worldwide shipping applies to all orders of 50 pieces or more of any single product type. Orders under 50 pieces are charged standard international shipping at cost, calculated at the time of your quote based on your location and order weight.

Can I combine product types to reach the 50-piece free shipping threshold?

Yes — if you order 30 patches and 20 pins in the same transaction, the combined quantity of 50+ qualifies for free express shipping on the entire order. Contact Stacy when placing a combined order to confirm the combined shipping arrangement.

Are there additional customs or import fees?

For customers in the USA, there are no additional import fees. For UK, Canadian, and Australian customers, customs duties and local taxes may apply above certain import thresholds. Stacy will advise on the most cost-effective shipping arrangement for your location and order value during the quoting process.
